Whitley Bay Community Allotment is a community garden, run by volunteers, that supports and encourages local residents to manage a small plot where they can grow organic fruit and vegetables without the commitment of having to maintain a large plot on their own.
We provide the plot, the tools and the support. All you need is green fingers (or the desire to develop them) and a passion to nurture nature.
We'd love to hear from you if you are interested in getting a plot or finding out how else you can get involved. Get in touch using this form or send us a message via our Face Book page https://www.facebook.com/WhitleyBayCommunityAlllotment/

Many thanks to this lovely bunch of people from Accenture who came to our site on 15th Feb to help clear some more of the land for our orchard. We really appreciate their help and hope they enjoyed the lovely blueberry muffins Jean made for them, they looked lovely. @SizzlingCommunityAction, @Carling, @SizzlingPubs, @SembleUK. ...
